Guidance to Chief Officers/Principal Officers
Chief Officers and Principal Officers play a key role in ensuring successful implementation. In order to effectively respond to requests for information new processes need to be implemented within each public authority. The following tables give an overview of the activities required to both manage individual requests and to maintain accurate records. The FOI Unit has also prepared a reporting template for weekly or monthly reporting of Information Managers to Chief Officers.
Chief Officers Briefings have been held throughout the implementation process. Download the documents presented at these meetings:-
